Default How much under rev limiter should I set my shift light with my new b1 cam??

I have the rev limiter bumped to 6600 with my hpp for now so I set the shift light at 6300..does that seem about right?? Do most people set it 400 under or so..like 5800 on stock 6200 limit.??
I plan on moving limiter to 7000 and then would put it at 6400?? Does that sound about right.
I don't powershift so not sure if that makes any difference to how much under the rev limit to set the light.

It all depends on how quick your reaction is and how quick your motor revs, especially if you have gears.

FYI, my limiter was just recently bumped from 6600 to 6800 and I moved my shift light from 6100 to 6300.

I plan on shifting when the light comes on from 1-2, pausing briefly from 2-3, and 3-4. That should put my shifts at 6300, 6400, and 6500 (1-2, 2-3, 3-4 respectively).

Good luck.
