Default What head, cam, intake combo for rx7?

What would be the best h/c/i combo for my car. I haven't dropped the engine in quite yet, and am building up the engine. It is a LS1/t56 with about 38k miles on my it. I want the car to hopefully be at 450whp or so. It is out of a 2000, so I was thinking LS6 intake. As for cam, should I go with something like the MS4?

I won't be using the car for a daily driver, but it will still be used on the street quite a bit. I am having some custom work done on the rear subframe to allow for about 700whp or so without having problems. I do a lot of my passes on the street around here, and rarely go to the track(maybe 2-3 times a season). I want a good cam, but probably not a T-Rex, and I was thinking that a MS4 may even be a little steep, but have never driven a car with it so I can't tell.

EDIT: I would like to run some spray if I don't get too extreme of a cam.

Remember that you are dealing with a much lighter car with more gear out back so a bigger cam will not suffer as many issues as it would in a fbody or gto.... I went the T-rex route in an effort to shift the powerband to the right, on purpose no less

I know they have more gear, but T-Rex seems like it may be just a little too steep. I don't want to be like some of those guys that do it and only be in first for second or two though. I was thinking maybe an MS4, but just not sure about it. What head would be good though? http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp...d=203&catid=47 be a good combo with a MS4?

Yup that would be a nice choice, Give them a call and talk to them, they are very knowledgeable and should be able to help you reach your goals.

You gotta remember that the faster you make your car the less time youre gonna be in each gear...so if you want the car fast, then you wont be in 1st or second for more 2.5 seconds anyway.

Yeah, I know.

Would the 5.3L heads be the way to go, or would going with the LS6 heads be better? If the engine goes on me, I will be doing either a 402 or 408, so would those heads work, or would I just sell all the stuff off and buy new parts?
