i just got one that is similar ... 230/234 - 595/585 114 + 2 - should more power be had over the 224/224 563/563 cam? If so, how much?

If you want more power then dont go with an fm13. Thunder racing lobes are more agressive and so the cam produces more power. Go with a bigger Thunder Racing cam if you want to make more power or go with a much bigger less agressive lobed cam with high lift an flycut your pistons. OR go with an g5x3 or ms4 or have a custom one ground but you'll probably need to change your stall as well.
I put down identical numers with my tr224 to an fm13. Same dyno within 3 days of each other same weather same combo's. tsp heads vs tea heads

I would say that F-13's dont make power. I have physically seen a 2003 ZO6 cam-only make 441whp and 401tq with an F-13. An F-13 isnt an all-out drag cam like the T-Rex and MS4 but it can make some awesome power. I recommend it and Futral makes an excellent product. Not to mention they can make you a custom grind based off of the F-13. Give them a call and find out for yourself.
