best cam for stock heads

best cam for stock heads I am thinking of swaping out the cam soon. I have no intentions of getting the heads done. I also need a choppy, lopey idle to fit the car. So I was thinking 112LSA. I have 2.5" dual exhaust with no cats. Soon to be some nice long tubes when I can find some that fit. May have to go custom. I like the hot cam for the money, but is there something that would work better for me?

That might e a little too choppy for what you are looking for <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But I am using mine woth stock heads as well, and those cams make awesome power.
You can't go wrong with the 224/224 either, thunder racing makes some great cams. good luck!

Re: best cam for stock heads You may want to look at the LG G% cam. They have been making some serious power with stock heads. You have to make a cutoff betwwen power and comfort. Give it a look.

You need to call Thunder and talk to Geoff. They just finished my motor and it sounds badass over the phone. Tell them Coach said to call, they will hook you up on whatever cam sound, power level you want.
