Default Motor experts inside I need help with...

I need help with cam choice.My heads are milled 30thousanths and I am getting .40 thick headgaskets which should bring it up to the 11:1: area.I was looking at cams and wanted to know if the comp 224/224 dur .581/581 lift cam or c2 would fit without piston to valve clearance.If not what is the biggest someone has gone with compression being that high on their cam?Very important to me because I dont want to change heads or cam anymore.Thanx everyone. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

what diameter are your valves? Stock?

I am also very intrested in this, as I am considering the same cam as Booker, and would also like to know. I will be running stock heads.

You should still have .070 - .080 valve clearance.

I have .570 lift w/ 218/224 durations (108 CL- 112LSA) and have approx .090 clearance...
