LOUD ticking sound under valve covers after TR224 install? What could the noise be. It started very quiet and then became very loud! I have brand new comp cam springs with Titanium retainers and crome oly pushrods. The noise started 2 days after install. I called the installer back. Re: LOUD ticking sound under valve covers after TR224 install? Check for a loose or broken rocker. Should take a hour tops since you only need to pull one side off.
