GM will again offer head gaskets separately!

Well, I just spoke with my buddy at GMSPO and he said that GM is again going to offer head gaskets separately. They will also sell the kit with all of the other crap in it. Perfect, just in time for my head install. Just an FYI.

even though i used LS6 head gaskets on my 1999 LS1 and got them seperately <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

That is very good news! $300 for a kit full of useless bolts/gaskets is BS!

When? I just spoke to two dealerships and they can only get the kit.
