Cam Swap Questions/Mileage Ok, Looking to put in a cam, the HotCam sounds good, but heard there are better cams out there. How much does a cam of the Hot Cam numbers affect your gas mileage? the MPG will go way down when your foot is in
it all the time.. MPG not really effected
hotcam best for M6 but will work in auto..

Re: Cam Swap Questions/Mileage Friend of mine did Hotcam, FLP's, basic bolt on's and 4.11 gears. His SS still gets 27-28mpg on highway trips. Before the HotCam and gears he'd got 31-32mpg on long trips. He said he lost some around town but part of this seems to be cause the car is more fun to drive. His car is an M6.
