What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! This has just happened. I was sitting at a stoplight when my car was making a wierd noise. I turned the AC off and the noise stopped. I can turn the AC on with the air blowing on the lowest setting and I can hear a noise coming from the passenger side around the glove box. Each time you increase the setting to make the air blow harder the passenger side dash vibrates louder and harder. It sounds horrible. You can turn the setting to where it is blowing out the hardest and the entire dash vibrates very loud and hard and it sounds like something is really screwed up. Please help me find out this problem. Thanks
Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! If I had to guess, I would say it is you AC compressor. But I'm not very familiar with the AC system.

Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! You either a)have a small animal or piece of debris in you blower under the dash or b) have a blower motor going out... That is the exact location of the entire blower assembly for you heat, vent, A/C, and defrost system... This has nothing to do with the compressor. (not if the dash was vibrating)

Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! Good suggestions....our truck was making a similar noise and it turned out to be a heater hose vibrating against an engine bracket.

Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! whit vibrations getting louder with speed you could have a balance problem with the fan. Bad fan or something in the blades throwing it out of balance.

Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! It has two tabs in the front under the glove box. Not sure how to release them. You can take your glove box out by pushing the sides in and pulling out. That may give a look at how those tabs are held in.

Re: What is wrong with my car!! Need Help!! When you get the cover off, remove connector and the 3 screws then motor comes right out. You should unhook your batt since you air bag sensor is in there and you don't want to bump it and set off your airbag.
