382 all bore guys............
how many with R1 cams? anyone with a much bigger cam? Anybody have a 237/242 114 cam?
Don't get crazy with those huge exhaust durations, they really don't help much. Notice how well Thunder Racing's reverse-split patterns are doing?
I started with the T1 (221/221 .558 112) on my 382ci and it pulled 455 rwhp/442 ft-lbs with the stock rearend. Swapped to the T2 (232/232 .574 112) and pulled the same numbers thru the new 12-bolt/4.10 combo. I figure it was worth about 10 rwhp over the T1.

1. Stock bore/block with a 4.00" stroker crank
2. Resleeved/bored block with 4.10" bore size and stock crank.
Stock bore is 3.90" diameter.
Stock crank is 3.62"
MTI has also produced an all-bore 393ci setup and it is being tested in SW's Corvette. This uses the same 4.155" bore as my 434ci (I have a 4.00" stroker crank).

That car would be cendres' 98 Z28, ARE built the engine. It was a 393 with a solid roller cam, resleeved to 4.10 bore with an offset ground stock crank.
