Cam swap and Air conditioning

Re: Cam swap and Air conditioning
Yes, you can just 'swing' aside the ac without discharging it. But, I'm not sure which is the most common way it's being done.

You don't have to discharge the AC system, but with the condensor and stuff out of the way it makes it a heck of alot easier. Plenty of room to climb around with it out.

i didnt discharge mine, but you do have to move the condensor down far enuf to pull out the cam. like an idiot though i removed the AC when i was done with the swap LOL, you should just remove it now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

No need to discharge, even a rookie like me swap cams without a discharge, easily. I bungee corded the condensor up enough to clear by attaching the other end of the cord to the hood latch thingee. Try it, once you do it, you'll be kicking yourself for ever considering a discharge.
