Default How does the oil pump pick-up tube come off?

I have quite abit of play in the timing chain and am going to replace it. Unfortunately it looks like the oil pan needs to be dropped to un-bolt the pick-up tube. Is there any other way to do this?

TIA

Dexterity, and a SMALL 10mm wrench will get the bolt that holds it in out of there-- be careful not to drop it into the pan, though!

If you undo the oil pan bolts, you will be able to drop the pan about an inch. This should help with getting to the oil pick-up tube bolt.
