Default Rocker Arms!!!

I heard today that the company that makes the arm itself is going under. So what rockers are out there now is all that is left. There is going to be a lot of back ordering or something. Apparently Crane and all the other companies get the rocker "shell" from some other company and then add all their little parts themselves. If this is true, then there are going to be a lot of delays.

Jesel S/S rocker arms in the stock 1.7 ratio are only $695 retail and fit under the 99+ valve covers with a little modification to the covers. That is what I am running on my 434ci motor.

Well, since my block deck and heads are not stock, I can't tell you what pushrod length to use. I'd imagine the pushrod length used for a stock motor is the stock length since these are designed to be bolt-in stock replacements.

The 97-98 valvecovers will not work, but you can hog out the insides of the 99+ covers to fit them. Remove those sheetmetal and plastic parts underneath and grind down any low spots, basically smooth them out underneath.

Why won't they work with 97-98 valve covers?

SLP's 1.85 rockers are in stock and shipping -

1.85 ratio

stock appearance (basically indistinguishable unless you really focus on the location of the pushrod)

require no mods, no grinding, no new pushrods

fits 97-02 LS1, LS6, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0

NOTE: most cars will require replacement valves springs as the stock ones won't handle the increased lift.
