Car sounds awesome. I was looking at getting the t 2 cam, but with all the good things I have read about the t 3, I might go with that. I noticed that texas speed has a TSP Camshaft, PRC Spring Kit & Pushrod Package for $699, is that the package that you chose? I am also interested in the driveability of the car with this cam. When you get a chance to drive it, woudl you please let us know?

I am also getting that package in a couple weeks or whenever my income tax return comes in, along with some Pacesetters and ORY.

That is the package that I chose. Believe me I am very anxious to drive it and see how the driveability is. That probably won't be for a while yet considering it is still snowing

Hey guys...

The $699 kit is the one you want. I also got the ported LS6 pump from them too.

My car fired right up at the first turn of the key. Oil pressure was 70psi at a cold idle. It had a very nice lope to it. I drove for about two months before I bought EFIlive and a WBO2. It is driveable without a tune, but it will be nowhere near optimal. Stay out of the throttle without a tune as you will not know for sure what your AFR is without a WBO2. When I logged my LTFT's I was at +25%....not good. Untuned on the dyno it immediately went to 16:3 to 1 on the first WOT pull..again...not good.

Oh... mine settled on a 800rpm idle and did not hunt around. It will surge at low speeds without a tune. I am learning to do my own tuning and have ALMOST eliminated surging.

The T3 is streetable (and tolerable to me) without a tune. With a tune your golden. The numbers below are with an LS1 intake, no EWP, and no UD pulley. Do a search for my user name and you can find my first graph from last November. Its buried deep in the Dyno Forum.

I know what you mean. We just had our first great day here yesterday, and it felt really nice to open her up without worrying about the snow or ice. I am talking the the guys at TSP and I am almost convinced that I will be ordering the kit with the Torquer V.3 cam within the next week.

I'm acutally kind of nervous to drive it. I have the Ls4 oil pump and I've read that it can pump all of the oil out of the oil pan before it can push it back in because it flows so much. I don't really want to buy another oil pump and swap em! ehhhhh
