help pick a cam I want to get a cam in my ls1 truck. But I do not know which one to get. Could anyone help me pick one?
I do go out of state in this Sonoma about five times a year and I do need it to past Texas inspection

Re: help pick a cam WIth a quiet exhaust system and your idle set around 900rpm, you could use a TR224 cam on a 114. If you want to be super stealthy you could drop back to a 220 or 222. All of these cams are proven performers. The 224 cam normally makes between 380 and 390 RWHP in 6 speed cars...
BTW, that is one sweet *** truck! You did exactly what I planned on doing before my 94 Sonoma was totalled...
