Default MY car is burning oil

I have gone 2400 miles since my first oil change and I checked the oil today and it's a quart low. I have Mobil 1 in it right know. Is this a serious problem or should I not really worry about. I have raced about 15 times at the track and drive hard know again on the street. Some people have told me it burns because it's synthetic. Please help with any answers.

Mobil 1 is a bit thinner than other oils, try switching to Redline or Amsoil 10w30 and see if the consumption goes down.

Welcome to the oil burning club. If you drive it like you stole it then you'll be missing oil. I didn't have the problem until a few months ago. Sucks *** but guess thats the way it goes
