Default Cam/ heads question.

I'm getting TR 224/224 112 cam for now. I might get GTP heads in the future. I was wondering what do i have to change when i get the heads?

If you leave the stock heads alone now, all you'd haveta change is the springs, pushrods and a few gaskets. If you stray too far from a stock-type spring, you'd also haveta swap retainers.

Later, with new heads, you may haveta swap p-rods again (depending on how they were milled).

None of this counts all the various and sundry bolts & other gaskets that would haveta be swapped out, too...

And if i had to get them sperate what are the best quality springs and retainers for my cam specs? I'm going to run NOS from time to time, not always though. Appericate it.
