Need Help

I have a 2001ss with 8000 miles, it is a six speed. When I shift into 3rd gear at about 1500-2500 rpm and let out on the clutch, my car feels like it cuts off and then will pick up. It does not do this everytime. Could it be the clutch, ignition, fuel system. Your thoughts will be appreciated.

What mods have you got, what you have you done to it lately, give us some more info.

No mods done, car is stock. Dealer said that the speed was too low to shift into third gear. This does not sound right, when the car is made to shift from first to fourth.
