Cam choice in the future...need suggestions???
My main question is, should I go with a spray cam or go with a big motor cam...when I spray it will eventually be a 150wet shot...thats what I would run, if I ran it with the heads/cam...
For a NOS cam, I was thinking about a Comp Cams Cam....226/232 .565/.585 112lsa...
For an N/A cam, I was thinking about a Comp Cams X-ER lobe cam..226/226 .585/.585 112lsa...
Would the split duration give me more HP on motor and on spray?
Or would I be better off going with a N/A cam like that or even something more aggressive??
Give me some suggestions... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Thanks,
Bos
In the rear I got 3.73's so I think that will work out fine...
I will be going with a P.I. 3600 stall most likely... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Is anyone making more power with a more aggressive cam...
Lets say if I went with a 232/232 .585/.585 112lsa cam??
Would that work out well with a stock bottom end 346ci. motor??
*I want to rev no higher than 6700-6800 on spray if I want to keep the bottom end around for long...even though the motor only does have 11,500 miles on it.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I need some more opinions.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Should I go single batter big cam
more intake than exhaust on duration and lift
Or
Try one of the newer reverse split pattern cams like the "X1"
What should I do?
