Default engine rebuilding info ..please help

hi all,
i am kinda new here, but i always read your great tech info...
well i am about to rebuild my 98 ls1 engine..
and my question is...
i want to try 232/232 .575/.575 112 camshaft , does this cam need valve/ piston clearness.. and thats using it with either my home ported heads( 2.055/1.6) or a new set of 5.3 heads with double springs...
do i have to get pistons with valve relifs and is it hard to balance it or hone it...

thanks in advanced

Yup...PV clearance will be an issue...you probably will have to flycut...

those cam specs looks awful familiar

yes FireBall , once i saw your cam spec last time .. i thought that cam will be the best cam for top end racing... the we do it here in kuwait is about a mile racing... this cam with 150hp NOS.. will be great...
but my only problem is... if i got a forged pistens with valve relifs in them, do i have to flycut the pistons do... and how much will cost me if i ordered a short block with that cam, forged pitons, ARP bolts for the rods and bearings and balanced to accept any valve size that i can bolt on the block
