Thanks to Mark Shumaker @ Raging Motorsports for a kick-@ss install and the utmost in professionalism!! As far as I am concerned, in the KC area there is nobody that can compare. I have been around the block with different "speed" shops over the last 6 months and did not find one I truly trusted with my SS, nobody. Mark is like a machine when he works on the LS1, and works with alot of TLC.....You da man, Mark!
Also thanks to Angie and Jeff @ Thunder for the true care with your cam design and quality parts and service. The TR224/114 ROCKS!
The new set-up w/ the cam, macs, mac y w/ RT cats welded in, and LM on Nitto's is awesome....taking off has a whole new meaning!!! Only bad thing is I believe I smell something burning at WOT... ...Mcleod next.

mark is definately a great guy to deal with and is a perfectionist! he knows his LS1 motors and truely loves them. no one in the midwest compares for quality and price.

I went with the 114 for a good performer NA and juiced. BTW, the lope is perfect it sounds like my bro's cammed 69 Chevelle SS...aggressive but streetable. She runs like a raped ape on speed...which sound pretty scarey. It is. When I open it up it wants to go and go and go and go... I haven't even got close to the new limiter setting of 6700. But she wants it baaaad. I am going to dyno with wideband next week and will post new #'s. With the Mac upgrade from shorties and cam I am hoping for 380's, which will be about a 50 hp increase NA. After I tune in the nitrous I should be close to 470! That should do it. I am going to add one more mod though just for ***** and giggles (beside the Mcleod)...power cut-out. Opening it up and hit the purge will save me some gas at the stop light
BTW, Gator ditto what you said! Isn't it great to actually have a LS1 owner work on your car.

I went with the 224/114 and can't wait to have it installed. You sound like you are very happy with the cam and your current setup. Congrats

Hey thanks for the words Randy and Gator! Man the car really sounded awesome after we started it up for the first time. I know that car is your baby and damn is it clean! You should throw some pics up here and show these guys what it looks like.
Like you said I really enjoy working on these cars mainly for the end result and that's to see the customers eyes light up when they get their new mod done.
Anyway let's get that bad boy to the dyno and see how much power the beast has now!

Congrats !
I also ordered a cam from Thunder Racing here about a week ago, its a 224/227 on a 112. I should sound REAL nice on idle and put down some good power after I get some headers on.

Congrats on the new setup! There's nothing like the feeling of getting your car back, knowing it was well taken care of. Unfortunately, it's not the norm it seems. Glad you found a great guy to deal with! I too have the TR 224/114 cam, but I don't really hear the lope as much as I thought I would. Maybe I'm just jaded from my old 396 LT1 with a Comp 306 (230/244).
Awsome, I still can't wait to get my TR224/112 in. I had bought parts and had my clutch, Mcloed M/C and what not installed recently by mark as well. Awsome work. If I am not going to do the install he will, thats for sure.
Thanks Again Mark
