One of my K-Motion 750's broke on me and I was considering replacing them with some CC 918's. Will I still be able to use my Lunati Titanium retainers or will I have to buy different ones? Thanks.

No, those retainers will not work. You will have to use either the Comp 772s (Titanium) or the stock retainers.

No, its not worth the extra money. I just put a T1 in my SS and used the stock retainers with the new 918's.
Maybe it is just me but I felt like using the extra 150 bucks somewhere else.

I don't know where the line would be drawn, but the titanium retainers are the way to go if you're planning on spinning the motor up pretty high... Anything you can do to lighten the valvetrain helps...

I have yet to hear of anyone pulling keepers through a stock retainer.
Like the man said, "use the $150 somewhere else."
