Steam Line Question, help please!!!

well, I'm finally getting back to where my motor looks like a motor. I have a couple of questions about the steam lines.
First of all, what do the bolts that hold them on look like. Are they all the same?
2nd, would a good coating of RTV seal them off well enough to run, or do I really need the gaskets?
And finally, am I going to need the late model steam lines to run my Holley intake?
Please help ASAP, I'm under the hood as you read this!
