Any tips on cam install The new cam is going in today and i was wondering if you guys could give me any advice from your past installs. The new Thunder 230/224 is goin' in and it should sound, and run like a beaSSt.
Do you have to discharge the A/C. anyways, thanks for any of your tips and advice in advance.

Re: Any tips on cam install I just took my T1 out this past weekend, and put the 230 in. Make sure you raise the screw on the TB so it can idle better. No need to discharge the AC, just swing it up and out of the way.

Re: Any tips on cam install my lifters stayed up on both cam installs, just make sure you take the pushrods out first though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I dont have E-testing in my county so I could care less <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
