Re: Rev limit for TR 224 on a 112 LSA?
Here's a question I just thought about. My tach is 200 rpm fast at idle (reads 1000 but Atap says 800) but at the rev limiter it's dead on. I want to see if my tach will read 6800 once I set it to 6800 (T1, hardened rods, Ti retainers, 918 springs) so will it hurt anything if I run the engine up until it hits the new limiter at 6800? I know hitting the limiter is 'ok' with stock valvetrain but I don't hear too much talk of hitting limiters with an upgraded valvetrain.
