4.060 bore = 6.0 LQ4 block
4.125 = most stroke I have heard, after a while too much is too much.

The biggest motor I have seen is 4.125 Bore, 4.125 Stroke. I agree with PSJ you do get to the point of diminishing returns aound 434/6 max even at this size you are beginning to push the limits of reliability and block integrity of the aluminum block.

I'll be running a 4.03" bore and 4.125" stroke.

There may be some awesome heads out within the next year or two from AFR. With a custom intake and these heads I think these strokers will be able to be twisted up pretty high.

I was thinking of going with a longer stroke but, decided to wait and see what type of heads and intakes develop. If I ever want to upgrade this motor, that I don't even have yet , then I'll go with new heads, intake, and throw a solid roller in there so it can be spun a little harder. I'd be scared of putting too big a stroke in for fear of a rod hanging out the side of the block.

I think in the next year or two we're going to see some serious N/A LS1's, especially with new head development.

I have a Lunati 4.125" crank, with a 4.1" bore resleeved ARE LS1 block. As for the largest, Walker from the Corvetteforum had MTI build him a 449ci, which is a 4.250" stroke and 4.100" bore I believe.

Personally I love the extra stroke to give you the low rpm torque that sets you back in your seat real hard all the way from 2000rpm to 6800rpm.

Yes, the longest stoke crank offered for the LS1 is 4.25". I don't believe anything longer would clear the skirt of the block. Theoretically with a C5-R block you could build a 462 cu in engine (4.160" bore X 4.25 stroke)

My stats are 4.030" bore (iron block) with 4.00" stroke.
