two questions.

why an adj. set up on a hyd cam, terry?

and

im thinking a stock rocker is less than an 800 dollar set of non-adj. jesels. not feasible in my mind any time. so why switch?

Sure...a stock set of rockers is much cheaper, but a stock rocker is a stock rocker. If stock rockers crap out time and time again...why buy more? I've got a '98 and I've heard that the '98 rocker arms were more prone to breaking than later years. I've already replaced all of mine with new, stock rockers once. Hopefully they will last me for a while. Who knows...many people have broken rockers that did not have '98 vehicle.

There are several mods that need to be made to the head casting to fit the T&Ds. Im sure MMS knows exactly what those are. Im sure they also know the issue with large spring seats and ported LS6 castings. So no doubt all is fine.
I'll be using fully adjustable Jesels on my big-bore.

Terry,

The only modifications necessary on my heads were the spring pockets for the 1.550" springs. The T&D's required no machine work on their own. They come with a small template and a set of shims to achieve proper rocker arm geometry. Depending on your valve stem length and installed height, you may need to shim the pedastals or have T&D make you a custom set (they did this for me.) Other than that, you will most likely need a custom length pushrod.
