Default New motor issues, help please.

Alright, so, I got the motor in, and it runs! Whoohoo!

I have a few issues that I tried to diagnose yesterday, but was just too tired and frustrated to spend a ton of time on. Maybe you guys can help me out.

Problem 1:

I set a Cam Signal low code (P0342)

The Tach didn't work, but, I fixed that by plugging in the Cam sensor.

Tach now works, but, I still set the same code.

Problem 2: I have an issue with a high idle. The car idles at ~950 give or take when it's not moving. Anything over 5mph, and it idles at just over 2k. TPS sensor seems to report the correct voltage.. between 0 and .04 or so with my foot off the gas. It's a stock TB that worked before I pulled the motor apart. What do I need to be looking at to fix this problem?

I had one other problem ( emissions ) but, don't recall what the code was.

Thanks for your time.

Someone just posted something similar to a high idle like that. I think it was related to one of the clutch switches

Are you sure about that TPS voltage? Around 0.5V would be about right with the throttle closed...

I'm 100% sure on the TPS voltage. With my foot off the gas, I see 0.00 to 0.4 or so. When I press on the throttle, the voltage goes up to just over 4.5 IIRC.

All of the wires to my clutch seem to be intact.

Anyone else have an opinion/solution?
