I'm currently running a Comp 216/220 - .525/.532 114 LSA, ported heads, and longtubes with just a Predator that tunes WOT settings only and the car still gets 18-19 in town and 23.5 - 24.7 on the highway. You gotta love those M6's! 74mph @ 2000 rpms.

got the car back last night....

Big difference..

1) there is still some bucking, but not as bad as it was before. before it was from 1400 - 2000.. now it is at 1400 - 1600.. still sux when i want to use 5th at around 45 the is right at 1500.. but oh well, i will jsut need to get a 4.10 then...

2) the idle does not hang anymore when i take the car outta gear. that was the most annoying of them all.. used to hang at 2000 - 2300.. That was completly fixed.

3) the car seems to hesiatate a bit at 4th gear 2000 and 5th 2000.. but it is not hesitating from what the tuner said. those are jsut to steap of a gear for the motor and tranny and rear.

4) i wanted the idle lower. stock tach says 1000.. but when it was hooked up to the lap top runing ym car sais any where from 925 - 950.

Soo all in all i say it is a lot better. hope ym gas mileage will now increase a bit??

does it hesitate and stumble at 2000 or is it just slow to start gaining speed?

looking forward to hearing if you get any improvement in mileage now. Still sort of suprises me that they were not able to get rid of the bucking above 1500 or so. Also I would think with aN M6, you could still go lower with the idle. I guess I will find out soon enough as I am going with a cam very similar 228/234 LSK/XER .639/.598 110 +2. By the way, did you ever get your graphs posted. From your other post I was suprised your HP peaked as high as it did with the +4. I was hoping with +2 I would peak around 6500, but if mine follows yours it may be more like 6800.

It just hesitates for a split second in a lower gear (4th and 5th), like i said its b/c the cam is not making any power the gear is low and it has to drive the tranny and rear...

Yea i really wish that the bucking would go away.. He could of gone lower with the idle.. but warm/cold starts the car would fumble a bit to try and catch idle... No i never piosted up my graph.... i will do that pretty soon.. With in the next day or so.

I think it is fine.. But a gear would get rid of the bucking. Also at 2k RPMs in a lower gear the car does not make power... Would go he do different to tune it better

hmm sounds like ur havin the sam idle problems as me...i too am an M6 w/ 224/224 .581,.581 112lsa w/ boltons and free mods....it got to the point that my car sometimes would cutoff when i started it (if is wasnt dead cold)....we fixed that be upping the start idle rpms from its stock 0 to an extra 150...and u might need to open ur IAC valve a little more....keep us posted
