Don't know what cam your talking about ,but recently was doing some engine dyno development on a LS1 with a cam of 114 lobe sep. With a adjustable vernier type timing set and found once we moved the cam around in several positions that 111 intake centreline works best which is 3 deg advanced. It was worth a genuine 9hp from about 4800 rpm onwards with no torque loss. Would never sacrfice torque down low for hp up top. Note that every cam profile is different though and not so sure that this would be the case in your application but thats what we found - All the best <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

FWIW, I believe GM recommends the Hot Cam be installed at 111* ICL, but its on a 112LSA.
