Default Port matching LS6 intake.. Anybody done it???

Well, while my heads are off the car getting cleaned up I was thinking of having my intake port matched to the heads. Anyone tried this yet? Any gains or losses? The shop working my heads saidhe has done a few already and the cars are pickng up around 5 to 10 rwhp with no loss of torque. Gimme some insight guys <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Can't tell ya if it makes any additional power but it can't hurt. I did mine. Easy to do with a dremel and a telescoping mike. Do it!

I've heard good and bad. Cartek did it a while back and picked up some power, but then I have heard of shops trying it and losing some low end TQ. Who knows, the stock LS6 intake flows good enough not to take the risk IMO...
