JATO rockets?
I'd say a nice H/C package to start off..

I wonder what kind of times you could get in the 1/4 with the JATO (jet assisted take off) LOL!!
They work great on aircraft carriers. I bet you would have a helluva of a 60'.

No H/C is going to do as much... Especially when streetability is a concern!

i dont wanna do a motor rebuild in the next 25,000 miles, because a turbo is gonna take a heavy toll on a stock motor, right?
6K+ 1200 installation= $7200, not right now

A turbo is easier on the engine than any other power adder for the amount that you use it (nitrous might not be as bad if you don't use it often). But, whatever you find you want, save up the money to get it instead of settling for other stuff.
I would go with as much nitrous as the motor can handle (500 RWHP) Have that wideband dyno tuned to be sure. Upgrade the fuel pump. ET streets, skinies in the front, and then concentrate on weight reduction, in the front. Get a controller for the nitrous, & you should be ready to go.

The Incon Twin Turbo is really easy on your engine. You pay $5500 and they don't deliver the turbo for 2.5 years.

Turbos are definitely the easiest on your shortbock. Nitrous is the hardest, simply due to the binary nature of it.

Basic: 2.055 x 1.60 ARE Heads. Decent cam. Personally, I like to be able to putt past the gendarmes up hill in a high gear (LT's w/ LM make loud noises alla time), so really big durations are out. But yer also quieter w/ that Corsa, so I'd do the TR224, or thereabouts.
Open up the intake stuff.
Ported oil pump for peace of mind.

does the level 4 tranny come with a converter? If not, a helathy stall would do wonders... get some stickies to hook up all the new wheel spinning fun, cutout, CAM.... that new thunder 230/224 is doing wonders. If you get that large of a cam, you'll need tuning for sure.. so i'd invest in LS1Edit and a laptop. Um... heads if you think they'd be worth the extra 20-30 horses for the $$. Other than that I'm stumped since you seem hesitant to run a power adder.... BTW... Turbo's are only hard on the car when you're in the boost... you can always get a boost controller and run maybe 5psi around town and crank it up to 9-10 to race... Turbo's only hurt the engine when they're in use, but even then they're easier on the internals than juice or a blower.
