Default OK is ticking normal after cam install?

I got the thunder 224 put in with 918 springs and hardend pushrods...My problem is the ticking that sounds like a bent rod. I know I don't have anything wrong cause it runs great.

My question is...is the ticking noise common when the only thing you change out is what I meantioned above?

Yes, the noise is very common after swapping cams/springs. This is caused by the agressive ramps on the cam opening and shutting the valves so quickly.

Nothing to worry about! Enjoy the cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
