The springs on the AFRs at TSP are only good to 600 lifts. The springs on the trems are good to 650 and higher RPM.

I know alot of people in the thread most have AFRs.

I would love to have a back to back dino with AFR and TSP starting at 2500RPM. I know the AFRs add torque down low. That is what I want.

That is not exactly true. The standard dual springs on the AFR 205s are the same as the Patriot Duals and are good for up to .640" lift. For .650" and higher lift, AFR has the optional #8019 spring which is currently the best drop-in spring available for LS1s. The 8019s have higher spring rates and more lift potential than the revered Comp 921s. They are ideal for when running LSK lobes.

I thought your cam is only like 580ish lift? Why wouldn't the stock AFR 205 springs be ok?

Or if you want the overkill springs you can swap the springs you have onto the AFRs when you get them...

Order the gd AFRs already!!! If you don't order them today I'm coming over to your house and

I agree...2 of the best heads on the market hands down performing outstandingly and consistently on every car that has them. How can you look elsewhere?

The Terminators made 490rwhp on a heads/cam car with an MS3 cam and LS6 intake. The ports may not fit the FAST setup (I've seen the pictures), but they obviously work well on a lowly LS6 intake...

You can't go wrong with the AFR's or Terminators IMO. To me, the Terminators offer slightly better flow with slightly smaller runners and are a slightly better head then the AFR's.

Well this thread served its purpose. Walter (yellowtoy/a) bought a set of AFR 205 heads, .040 cometic gaskets, and head studs, so he should be good to go now.
