Hot weather engine temps?

Hot weather engine temps? How hot does your C5 run in hot weather temps? My C5 has been running around 220-230 degrees in really hot weather. Whats normal? Sometimes I experience some pinging as a result.
Does anyone use water wetter or have you gone to a better radiator to cool down?

Re: Hot weather engine temps? You need a Hypertech 160F thermostat. That will cure your problems and keep the temps around 185F normally.
Yours is running normal for stock right now by the way.
