Cam Reccomendations???
I have a 2001 Trans AM WS6 with the mods in the sig. My next mod is a cam, and I'm not sure which one will suit my needs.
I want a BIG cam. I want a LOPEY cam! I want a cam that is going to make POWER! I'm looking at a few choices, but don't know much about cam's and their specs and how well they will work.
Here's what I have looked at, but don't know what will best suit my situation.
TR 224/224 .561/.561 112
TR 227/224 .561/.561 112
TR 230/224 .569/.563 111
TR 224/227 .563/.569 114
Mostly TR camn, but I'll entertain any. What would you reccomend? I am thinking about trying the double springs that don't require the stock heads to be mocified. If not those, then some titanium retainers and some 918 springs. I'll be mostly using a 100-150 shot, but will also run N/A (prolly not as much, barely any). Thanks.

Re: Cam Reccomendations???
I've looked there before, but I'm really looking for advice from some of the people here who seem to be very technically oriented and know how the specs of particular cams will react with what setup I'll be running.
I'm not planning on upgrading my heads any time soon, but would like as aggressive of a cam that my stock heads will handle. Also a cam that will respond well to N20. Should I go single pattern 224/224 or split pattern 224/227--227/224 do I want a higher intane duration for the N20, 227/224 or a higher exhaust duration? These types of questions can't be answered by a table. But I do thinkg that the LS1 database is a very helpful tool. Thanks.

Re: Cam Reccomendations???
For N20, you need more exhaust duration. I just installed the TR 224/227 on a 112 and I have stock heads and no headers yet. I wish I would have went with either a 226/226 112, or a 228/228 112. But Maybe a good cam for your needs would be a custom grind, something more like a 227/230 on a 112? The cam I have speced out at like 224.1 and 228.5 on a 111.6 and it is definatly not a "big" cam.
