Default Misfire Problems

Went to the track and got a scare. Burnout good, stall good, launch good, but then I get to 3000-4000RPM and get a dead spot, it started shaking and popping like crazy and then after 4000RPM it takes off like a bat at hell again.
Took it to the shop.Since the PCM is extremely modified they couldn't tell me what was wrong.
They had to test everything the old fashion way,
changing plug wires, coils, and they told me I was having major misfires. That the misfires were
jumping from cylinder to cylinder in all 8. My question is how can that be fixed? Am I going to have to reflash my PCM to find out what's wrong. The shop also said that my PCM couldv'e fried and is not communicating properly. Please advise.

Default Re: Misfire Problems

I would check the ground wires at the back of the head (drivers side)make sure they are all hooked up.If the misfires are jumping around it sounds more electrical than anything.
