Default Installed Tr 230 Cam, Lopes great but...

At part throttle cruising the car stutters, like a bad misfire. I don't think it's surging but it stutters however when I give it full throttle it goes away and runs perfectly fine.

At WOT the car doesn’t stutter only at part throttle does it occur. Please help. Thanks

PS: No codes or DTCs set.

That is weird.. I would check all the injector connections to make sure they are tight.. Also plug wires..

I just got mine installed last night and am somewhat getting the same effect. I have no tuning and NO headers yet, I have a catback, maf, Lid and the cam... My car does not feel all that strong either...

at WOT the car pulls smooth, but does not feel a SOTP difference from my stock cam...

i had a few engine codes, but they went away?!?!?! also the car seems to be running real rich.

Check your o2 sensor readings, lterms via autotap really close and check for anything unusual. One of them might be going bad on you. I know of a car that had a similar problem and it missed around 2500rpm and then quit around 3000rpm. It was a bad o2.

I think youll find it from running rich. Probably fouling out plugs.

ZGhost: Get a set of headers on your car and some tuning and the car will pick up a TON!!

2000 WS6: I would defintely look into autotapping your car to see what the Ltrims/O2s are doing, just as Mark said. Make sure the passenger side 02 sensor harness is not resting on the header tube. Just do a quick visual inspection of the engine compartment to make sure nothing is loose or out of the ordinary.

I hope that is the case, i have not dynoed the car.... I would still think there would be about a 30HP gain w/o headers but i may be wrong.... in any case, the headers are on order, just waiting...

What ever was the culprit, it has vanished and the car runs great now. Pulls exceptionally hard especially since I have no tuning. I can't wait to get it tuned right and get it to the track
