Everyone with ARE Stage 2 Heads
I have the 2.05 valves.
I remember that you had made some pretty good power close to 400 with just a cam and then went with Heads and gained .....I think 10-15 rwhp? What was the cause of that, tuning?

That sucks! I am sure you already called them to complain...what did they say if so? Has Ralph done anything else to find out what it is?

I wish I could take them to a shop but the guy is in Texas and wants about $1300.
Do you guys think its worth it $1,300, these heads do have the 2.08 valves and he says they are in very good shape. He dynoed 430rwhp and 420 torque and has a simular cam as me heres his cam specs 226/234 551/575 112 . If I dont have ls1 edit yet what will be my main probelms? Will I be ok with just the Maf translator for a while? Thanks alot guys! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I think those are two very different cams. His is a split which will bias a restrictive exhaust. Yours being a single pattern will be more inhibited by your 'restrictive' Macs... From my understanding of cams.
Given you are already pushing out 400 hp, you should be *very* close to the desired 430 point. It's only a dyno number though.

I dynoed less than 400 RWHP, but my ET is pretty decent for my weight.
I run the ARE Stg II heads with a 226 cam. I think the Mac's might hold you up from the 430, but you should be close.
