I was reading the latest issue of GMHTP.On page 22 in reference to the LS1V10,it states that the LS1 Vortec family truck manifold typically out performs the LS1/LS6 manifolds.??HUH??
Is this true?I was thinking of building a 5.3 one day for something.I was thinking stageII LS1 heads,Nice cam and other goodies.But now I'm perplexed by the manifold.Do you guys have experience with this?

 

The fuel rails are completely different as well. It's in no way a direct swap, regardless of the clearance issues.

 

I know that it wont fit under the hood without modifications.
