Whos actually done back to back flow testing changing nothing but valve seat angles & widths -
( I'm sure there has been hundreds of hours of testing between all the sponsors etc. )
Whats the best seat angles for inlet & exhaust ?
Trying to cut down my flow bench time.

If yer talking interior diameter angle, for the inside of the seat where the valve *must* mate, that would have to be reliant on the angle of the valve itself. You certainly wouldn't want the edge of the valve to be cut 45 degrees and have the seats be at 60. Oughtta be as close to flush as possible for compression purposes.

To my knowledge, there are only 3 makers of valves for the LS1 beside GM: Manley, Rev & Ferrea.

Sorry I should have made the question clearer- What is the best angles as in 3 angle valve job. I've heard people say the ls1 heads like a 5 angle valve seat - What angles are these for best flow ?

The head porters are making BIG cash on this right now, so everyone is scared to talk about it. The prices being charged for LS1 heads is absolutely insane. The only vendor with a decent deal on heads right now is TEA. The next best value is Raging Motorsport's EMT heads.

I understand that everyone needs to make a buck, but the prices being charged are total BS.

I understand recouping your research costs, but what is being charged is far in excess of that.

Hey I've spent thousands of dollars & hours on development work and I do understand but its not like I'll be taking food off the table as I AM on the other side of the world !!!!
