I lost a valve spring keeper, looked for 3 1/2 hours, does anyone know the GM# or are they
available aftermarket ?

 

Please help out there !!! I've got the engine back together, just needing 1 (one) keeper.
Petty embarrassing since I've been a mechanic for more than 20 years, and to loose a part
is not something I do !!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

 

I have the part # at home (I think), but I just bought like 6 of them (had lost one, afraid of losing another). They're like .33 each or something...any GM dealer will have 'em.

 

Just for FYI, the GM part number for LS1 keepers is 10166345
