I was told by Jason (TSP co-owner and I think their main head guy) that the LS6's were about 64 1/2 cc'c and the 2.5 5.3's were around 63 cc's. Also the runner size on the LS6's are just over 230 cc's where the 5.3's are just over 220 cc's. I read all of the post regarding the differences between the 5.3's and the LS6's and in the end took Jason's word for it and went with the 5.3's. I just hope he was really trying to help me out and not just sell me the most profitable head for his company? In any event I do not think you could go wrong with either one.

I bought my PRC LS6 Stg 1 Heads during their July 4th sale last year ... theyve been sitting here in a box since then.
I am wondering if they are the ones with rocker issues ... apparently you can tell by the runner size? 237 vs 230? I am wondering which ones i have.

Just call them and find out when they changed their program. If they are the older ones and you are worried about, explain to them the situation and they may be willing to work something out with you.

I gave them a call and talked to Jon.
They said they do not know whether my heads are the older or newer style from my order # and requested that I send in pics of the intake runners as they could tell from those.
I've emailed those pics into Jon and am waiting his response.
Thanks for the help.
