First off thank you all for your input so far.
I think I have decided to go change from the "hot" cam and go to the TR-220. The main reason is the car is my daily driver and I want to feel verrry coffortable with the reliability of the car.
Also I dont like the idea of how high you have to spin the hot cam to make the power. it looks to me like the 220 has more Tq. down lower for street driving
I just love the sound and performance I have seen with the "Hot" cam but reality has me saying 220.
So now If I could bother you folks again and ask a few questions?
1. Will the 112 LSA pass smog?
2. Are there drivability issues with the 220 w/112 LSA?
3. is there a big change in the poweer band of the 112 vs. 114 LSA
Thanks again!!

The 220 kills the hotcam everywhere. The hotcam sucks compared to most of the good cams out there. As to passing emissions, I don't think you'll have any problems with a 900rpm idle passing with cats.
Here in Texas they just plug into the computer and check for codes. I have programming so mine will pass with any cam. Just depends on how they do it in your area.
