Default Comp Cam degree question, please HELP

My new Comp Cam is ground with a 4 degree advance for an "improved streetablity".

The card with the cam said to degree the cam at 110 degree intake lobe centerline (ILC)

To achieve this 110 ILC, I have to retard the timing from the stock marks 7 degrees.

Is this common to adjust it this much?

Or does setting the timing 110 ILC negate the 4 degree advance built into the cam?

Hope you guy's can help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Install your cam "dot to dot". You'll be OK.
