Not sure if I should do heads also or not. I am looking for roadcoarse laps, and would like low to mid 12's at about 114 in the 1/4

Well, I just finished putting in the cam in my sig, and I say I gained about a whopping 5 rwhp maybe..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> (according to the SOTP meter)

Do you have headers? My friends that have had bad results from cam-only setups are the ones who tried it without headers... seems to bottleneck all the possible power increase... so mainly all you feel is the lack of low end torque

very rarely will you only gain that low of power, and nearly any cam will give you additional TQ, even with low restriction exhaust.
i am still working out tuning issues and do not have an LS6 intake nor pulleys and have power sucking moser with 4.10 gears. i pulled :
381 RWHP
i feel that (like many others on the board) that i "lost" 15 RWHP from the rearend. i would not get caught up in the big numbered cam only cars. they most likely have TONS of hours of dyno-tuning and have EVERY bolt-on. with my new intake and pullies i should be well in the 390RWHP with cam and headers and moser.
by the way, i have the 230 Raging motorsports cam!!! i love it!
