Re: Car Blowing White Smoke at WOT
Awesome information guys!
My '98 has 65,000 miles, I also blow a little white smoke out at WOT. I don't think it is hindering performance though, I run 115 MPH an A4 with stock heads/intake/gears etc. My coolant is fine and I don't seem to have an oil consumption problem either. I also noticed it only after I put the Macs on w/ OR pipe. weird....

digging this one up out of the past...
anyone figure out if this is ok or not? My car blows white smoke right after letting off of WOT out of the exhuast, particularly noticeable in second gear. It also burns oil like a ****.

Another dig from the past, but does this module exist on the non-electric A4 tranny?

I had the problem before in m old fox body. Light white smoke and it burned oil. My problem was my motor was bored .042 over and it had. 040 piston rings. So the gap was bigger than it wwas supposed tto be allowing a little oil to get ontop of the piston. Yes I know when biting oil it has a bluish tint to it but mine was white and I used about a quart a month. But I was racing it alot.
