Forged pistons, Does any body have a forged pistons that fit a stock 3.895 bore not 3.905 like the piece of sh*t ross pistons that ARE just f*cked me with?You tell the guy pistons for a *stock* bore and he says we have a forged stock replacment kit pistons, rods, rings and ARP rod bolts,all set no balancing needed.I tell him to send it. He says there out of rings won't have them till Tuesday last week. I tell him to call me with the total price when they come in and are ready to ship. No call. Wensday I call leave a message he calls back later and says I have everything but rod bolts.I tell him then send me the pistons with out the rods. He does and it is the wrong sh*t. Now I have to pay to ship the Sh*it back for credit. This SUCKS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> ARE may be a site sponsor and I see that there are many satisfied customers,but am not one. It was the first time I delt with them and probably the last.

I ran some stock bore JE's a few years ago.
I see that Jason 98 TA is selling a forged LS6 bottom end in the for sale section is that not of interest?

Re: Forged pistons, Yes theat is an interest I sent him an email earlier today. But it really isn't what I wanted big compression about 12:1 with the spray I think it will be too much meaning expensive as a daily driver with needing race gas all the time. barry wasn't much help with the pistons from ARE but live and learn we just didn'tr understand what each other was saying. When we spoke before I shipped out the pistons we talked about the stock bore being 3.899 I told you that the pistons were 3.905 and you would have to hone the block, if that wasn`t clear it`s my fault and I apologize, the pistons you got are a flat top with valve relifes,and would give you around 10.0 to 1, I`am not sure where you get the 12 to 1 compression from but regardless, I well make sure to credit back your full amount plus shipping cost`s sorry for any delays this has caused you, please call me here @ 905-420-9195

Re: Forged pistons, Ok Barry I was a little upset and now that we have got this ironed out all is good.I didn't mean the Ross pistons were a substandard piece just that they wouldn't fit in my bore with out more honing than I planed on doing.I apoligize for the coment that you fu**ed me again I was upset and now all that is lost is a little time.Sorry Rich
