Default Difference between Comp 224 and TR 224

I am considering the TR224 224/224 LSA 112 or the Comp Cam from LS1Speed that has Lift: .563/.563 Dur@.050: 224/224 LSA: 112. I want the choppy idle so I would think the 112 LSA would give me that. I currently have the SLP 214/222 LSA 115. Driveability is great. Has a nice power band. But it is more smooth than I want and I want better HP. It is a daily driver but not a commuter. And I've got most all the bolt ons.

The Comp Cam is about $50 cheaper than TR and has .002 more lift. My springs are suppose to handle up to .600 lift.

So what are the differences? And is it the shorter LSA that will give me the choppy idle?

Advertised duration on the TR224 is 275, and 278 on comp's lobe #3753. That should in theory mean the TR224 will idle slightly better, and if the TR's ramps are steeper all the way up, it'll have a little more duration at higher lifts as well (more area, more power).
