Default changing rod bolts?

what does it take to upgrade the rod bolts? I heard that was the weak link in our motors. Does the whole engine have to be taken out and taken apart or what? How long does it take?

the search feature sucks here somtimes i can understand that! i was going to go with the katech rod bolts! they dont require reballaning the bottom end or resizing the rods the arp ones require. I have heard of people doing it in car by droping x member and oil pan and keep motor hoisted up in air. you should be able to access them from bottom. try doing a search thats what i original did to get more information! the katech ones are a bit price 155 bucks i think but well worth it in my readings compared to arp witch are 70 but require more work.
